Cougars Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Warheads
Valley View pitcher Sarda Chitturu did his part in helping his team beat the Amarillo Warheads, 4-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The Cougars, now 12-6, have been playing some good baseball.

Late-game drama came in the top of the ninth inning. With two out and runners on 1st and 3rd, the batter, Mario Ramírez, hit a double. It helped Valley View seize the win.

"Enjoyed this one," Chitturu told the Valley View Chronicle. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
