Elephants Topple Centennial with Late Rally
The Gibtown Elephants topped the Fort Knox Centennial by the score of 8-6, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder Wren Driscoll. Driscoll went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs for the Elephants on the day. Patrick Nicolas got credit for the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. David Fuentes picked up the save for Gibtown, his 5th of the year.

Gibtown grabbed control in the bottom of the eighth. With no one out and a runner on 1st, Kevin McIndeor delivered a run-scoring double, to make it 7-6 in favor of the Elephants.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said McIndeor.

Gibtown is now 18-13.
