Elephants Run Win Streak to 8
|
Gibtown starter Anbrosio Mera pitched effectively against the Memphis Music at Wrigley Field. The right-hander led his team to a 5-0 win. Patrick Nicolas picked up the save, his 1st. Gibtown is now riding a 8-game win streak.
Early in the game, second baseman Daniel Brewer had a run-scoring double for Gibtown. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Elephants on top, 1-0.
"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Brewer.
