5 Straight Wins for Clippers

San Diego got a strong outing from Paul Zucarelli as the Clippers defeated the Surprise Shockers, 7-1, at ïAbbots Ballpark. Surprise has now lost 4 straight.
One important at-bat came with the bases loaded in the top of the sixth inning. Facing Surprise hurler Tony Castro, Pablo Martínez, who is tied for 10th in the PR in RBI with 14, hit a 2-run double. The Clippers went on to win.
"Paul's tempo and rhythm were good," said Clippers manager Dexter Shannon. "He was the key to us winning."
