The Gibtown Elephants topped the Tulsa Otters, 7-3, in USPL Rookie action at Wrigley Field. The player of the game was Gibtown pitcher and Willemstad, Curaçao native Gerrit Zuidgeest. Fred Townsend picked up the save for Gibtown, his 1st of the year. Tulsa, at 10-13, has lost 4 straight.
Gibtown right fielder Kevin McIndeor helped the Elephants to the win. In the bottom of the third inning, the 20-year old right fielder stroked a bases-clearing double. For the game, McIndeor went 1 for 4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI.
