Rams Suffer 7-4 Loss to Elephants

Gibtown and Ladue duked it out at Ballpark of Wellsville and the Elephants came out victorious.
The Gibtown Elephants topped the Ladue Rams, 7-4, with youngster Zi-cheng Sun playing a key role. Sun was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 times for the Elephants in the win. Gibtown has a record of 10-9.
Kevin McIndeor hit a bases-clearing double off Brian Guilbert in the top of the sixth, which put the Elephants in front, 4-3. In addition to the double, McIndeor had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Sun. "And not try to do too much."
