Octopi Need Extra Frames to Get Past Elephants
The Ogallala Octopi beat the Gibtown Elephants, 5-4 at Wrigley Field, in part due to shortstop Milojica Kordic, who nabbed player of the game honors. He was 2-2 with a home run, a double, and a walk. The win moves Ogallala to a record of 6-7.

The game was all tied up in the top of the 11th, until Kordic delivered big-time for Ogallala, stroking a dramatic solo home run off Ernesto López. The game-changing hit put the Octopi on top, 5-4.

"Enjoyed this one," Kordic told the Ogallala Citizen. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
