Getting an impressive start from José Vélez, Phoenix beat Put-In-Bay by the score of 5-2. Vélez picked up the win for Phoenix, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 2-2. Jason MacDonald earned the save for Phoenix, his 4th of the year.
