Yoshida 3-4 in Blaze Win

Fans who gathered at The Ballpark on the Beach saw a good contest between the South Beach Blaze and Put-In-Bay BC.
The South Beach Blaze topped the Put-In-Bay BC by the score of 4-2, with the largest share of the credit going to third baseman Ryoichi Yoshida. Yoshida was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Blaze. Dan Taylor, credited with the win, is now 1-2. He allowed 1 run on 7 hits in 7.2 innings.
Yoshida had a game-changing single in the bottom of the sixth. On a 0-1 slider from Barry Mullen, he banged a run-scoring single to center, giving the Blaze a 2-1 lead. It was the 66th hit of the year for Yoshida.
Yoshida called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
South Beach, at 34-32, occupies 5th place in the Premier A.
