It was a good time at Galesburg Field, where fans came to watch the South Beach Blaze and Galesburg Guzzlers get after it.

Galesburg starter Jami Haakana pitched effectively against the South Beach Blaze at Galesburg Field. The right-hander led his team to a 6-4 win. Mark Zaugg earned the save for Galesburg, his 8th of the year.

The Guzzlers got a big at-bat from left fielder Don Pokorski. For the game, Pokorski went 2-4 with a triple and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 2nd triple of the season gave Galesburg a 3-2 lead.

"I felt good up there," said Pokorski. "I saw the ball well."

Galesburg is now riding a 3-game win streak.
