Guzzlers Solve BC, 5-3
|
Galesburg starter Robby Oglethorpe pitched effectively against the Put-In-Bay BC at Galesburg Field. The left-hander led his team to a 5-3 win. Galesburg is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 3rd in 14 games.
In the bottom of the 6th, right fielder Lev Migranov gave Galesburg the lead when he hit a 2-run home run. The Guzzlers had been trailing 2-1, but the two-out home run off Put-In-Bay pitcher Devin Gaines changed that -- and Galesburg went on to win.
"We take it day by day here," said Oglethorpe, "and today was a good one for us."
