Reid Sensational for Chiefs
|
The Heron Refuge was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Connetquot Chiefs and the Valley Blue Sox.
The Connetquot Chiefs picked up a win at The Heron Refuge, knocking off the Valley Blue Sox, 3-2. Starting pitcher Bo Reid, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The Chiefs raised their record to 52-34.
The Blue Sox had trouble solving Reid, who surrendered 1 earned run on 4 hits over 8 innings.
"I like the grit of this ballclub," Reid said.
