The 2032 season is getting ugly for Hogsmeade.

The Delaware 1787 BC downed the Hogsmeade Cauldrons, 9-2, at Gators Ballpark. The 1787 BC were led by Elwiin Hund, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. The save went to Ken Kimberlin, his 1st this season.

Hund had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 1-0 fastball from Joe Wilson, he banged a 3-run home run to center, giving the 1787 BC a 4-2 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Hund.

"I don't feel you win baseball games by working harder than the other team or 'wanting it more,'" Hund told the Delaware Bulletin. "You win just by scoring more runs."

The 1787 BC, at 49-28, lead by one game in their division.
