Dennis Chase put on a hitting clinic today as the Connetquot Chiefs dumped the Hogsmeade Cauldrons 8-2 at Gators Ballpark.

The Connetquot center fielder made Hogsmeade defenders earn their pay, lashing Hogsmeade pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Chase said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Dennis Chase doubled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Geunhye Kyoung in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
