Grim and Delaware duked it out at Carrier Field and the Reapers came out victorious.
The Grim Reapers topped the Delaware 1787 BC by the score of 6-3, with the biggest share of the credit going to third baseman Huai-yi Yang. Yang went 4 for 4 with a triple, 3 singles, and a walk for the Reapers on the day. Delaware has now lost 6 in a row.
The Reapers got a lift from left fielder Bearooz Yacoobi who had a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the first inning off Kent Horton. It was his 33rd RBI of the season and put Grim in front, 1-0.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Yacoobi, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
