Victory Over Reapers Takes Delaware to 33-15
|
Delaware 1787 BC starter Kent Horton was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Grim Reapers, 6-1. Delaware goes to 33-15. The win puts them 3½ games up in their division.
Tied up with the Reapers in the top of the fourth inning, the 1787 BC got a boost from catcher Elwiin Hund. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Hund saw a full count fastball from Jack Buyse and hit a 2-run double to break the stalemate and put Delaware on top, 2-0.
"Kent is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Delaware manager Kyle Holman.
