Kennesaw starter Cristóbal Román had a strong outing against the Washington Generals at Jets Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-2 win. Román got the win, improving to 7-2. He allowed 8 hits and walked 1 over 7.1 innings. Román allowed 2 earned runs. Owen Schultz finished to wrap up his 13th save.

Felipe Dávila had a clutch at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth for the Jets. Coming up with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Kennesaw trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run double.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Dávila.
