Generals Turn Back Yellowknife, 5-3

It was a fun time at Washington Park, where the Yellowknife Dragonblood and Washington Generals tangled.
The Washington Generals picked up a win at Washington Park, knocking off the Yellowknife Dragonblood, 5-3. Starting pitcher Bobby Ruegsegger, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Ruegsegger, now 3-4, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 9, walking 1, and allowing 3 earned runs. Sherman Harrison picked up the save, his 9th.
Washington grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and a runner on 2nd, Raúl Ocasio delivered a 2-run home run, to make it 5-3 in favor of the Generals.
Ocasio called the triumph "a good team win."
Washington is now 18-19.
