First Baseman Abood slugs 2 home runs, Steals Spotlight in Delaware Rout

The Delaware 1787 BC met little resistance from the Yellowknife Dragonblood, beating them 12-3 at The Dragon Den. Bryce Abood led the way. He was 3 for 3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while scoring 4 times and driving in 4 for Delaware. The 1787 BC, now 14-3, have stormed out of the gates.
Delaware third baseman Carlos Mendoza made his contribution to the 1787 BC cause with a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning. For the day, Mendoza was 1-5 with a double.
