The Yellowknife Dragonblood extended their winning streak at The Dragon Den.

Pitcher Tony Torres was sensational for the Yellowknife Dragonblood in his team's 7-0 triumph over the Niagara Falls Expos. Torres received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. The Dragonblood, now 11-4, have been on fire in the early going.

It was an impressive outing from the soft-spoken Torres, who tallied 11 strikeouts in 8.2 innings and allowed only 3 hits. Torres raised his record to 3-1 on the year with 35 strikeouts.

"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Torres.
