Vancouver pitcher Kent Clement did his part in helping his team beat the Panama City Piranhas, 5-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Sjaak Bonne got credit for the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. Vancouver occupies 5th place in the Premier League at 52-55.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 2nd and one out in the bottom of the eighth inning. That's when shortstop Wilson Vega, who is rated as the 6th best prospect by BNN, reached on an error by the 3B. The Grey Wolves went on to win.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Vega said.
