Patriots Win at Las Vegas, 10-6

A nice crowd turned out to see the Boston Patriots and Las Vegas Flamingos clash at The Strip.
Stanley van de Ven made an impact in the 10-6 Boston win over Las Vegas. van de Ven, who is rated as the 76th best prospect by BNN, was 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Edison Larson picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 9-1. Juan Cardenas was tagged with the loss.
Manuel Carmona hit a run-scoring triple off Juan Cardenas in the top of the seventh, which put the Patriots in front, 6-5. Carmona had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 5.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Carmona told the Boston Herald.
Boston, at 52-53, sits in 5th place in the Premier League.
