Vancouver rode a fine outing from starter Andrew Moody to victory over the Atlanta Smoke at Wolf Den in Vancouver. The final score was 2-0. Vancouver has now won 3 in a row.
The Smoke had trouble solving Moody, who surrendered no earned runs on 4 hits over 8.1 innings.
Moody said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
