Caterpillars Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Storm
The Grand Forks Caterpillars topped the Syracuse Storm, 9-3, in M3L Single A action at The Cocoon. The player of the game was Grand Forks pitcher and Banstead-Tadworth, England native Taylor Geldard. Grand Forks reliever Carlos Cardoso picked up the win, upping his record to 5-0. Carlos Simon was saddled with the loss. The save went to Taylor Geldard, his 1st this season.

Lynwood Dimartínez hit a 2-run double off Carlos Simon in the bottom of the second, which put the Caterpillars in front, 3-2. In addition to the double, Dimartínez had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Dimartínez.

Grand Forks is now 14-14, Syracuse 15-13.
