Minnesota first baseman Rim Hong-Do made his presence felt in the 8-7 Loons triumph over the Richland Rails. Hong-Do went 2-3 with 2 singles and 3 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Loons have now won 4 straight.

Late in the game, left fielder Joe Ferguson had a big at-bat for Minnesota. In the bottom of the 14th, he hit a run-scoring single off Aliaume Thiame. The play gave the Loons a 8-7 lead.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Ferguson, "but we got it done."
