Kichikawa Helps Love Boats Run Win Streak to 3
The Lake Minnetonka Love Boats thumped the Springfield Shooters, 9-2, at Springfield Stadium. Shihei Kichikawa was a big reason his team got the win. Kichikawa went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Lake Minnetonka now has a 3-game win streak.

Lake Minnetonka first baseman Francisco Guerra helped the Love Boats to the win. In the top of the second inning, the 24-year old first baseman stroked a 2-run triple. For the game, Guerra was 2-4 with a triple and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Lake Minnetonka manager .
