Love Boats Stymie Chesapeake, Take 2-1 Win

The Lake Minnetonka Love Boats got a rather unremarkable outing from starting pitcher Alejandro García, but it was good enough for the club to take a 2-1 decision over the Chesapeake Continentals. García got the win, improving to 3-6. He allowed 4 hits and walked 2 over 6.2 innings. García allowed 1 earned run. Lake Minnetonka is now 41-30, Chesapeake 36-35.
The Love Boats got a big at-bat from right fielder Jin-song Seah. For the game, Seah went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk. In the top of the fifth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 8th double of the season gave Lake Minnetonka a 2-1 lead.
