Springfield third baseman Miguel Elías had a 7-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 19-3 win over the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles. Springfield reliever Otte Leuthold picked up the win, upping his record to 5-0. Arthur Clough absorbed the loss. The Shooters now have a mark of 27-31.

Elías had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the eighth inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Shooters went on to win.

"We're all smiles after that win," Elías told the Springfield Daily.
