The Lake Minnetonka Love Boats downed the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles, 9-2, at Mercer Island Grounds. Jin-song Seah led the way, going 4-for-4 for Lake Minnetonka. Kagetoki Matsubara earned the win for Lake Minnetonka. He lasted 7.2 innings, allowing 1 earned run on 7 hits, while striking out 4. With the win, he raised his record to 8-1. Lake Minnetonka is 32-22 and Mercer Island, with the loss, 35-19.

The fans who came in support of the Love Boats were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at Mercer Island Grounds.
