Screaming Eagles Come Back Late to Top Love Boats
The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles defeated the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats, 5-4. Earning player of the game honors was first baseman Alfredo García, who went 2-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Mercer Island reliever Mario López picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Dylan Telford took the loss. Mercer Island leads the Premier AA by 3 games.

Mercer Island took control in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Dennis Wacher hit a run-scoring single to make it 5-4, Screaming Eagles.
