Youth Lose Again, 3-2, to Continentals
|
Alberto Solís pitched well, but the Phoenix Hotspur Youth still lost the game, falling 3-2 to the Chesapeake Continentals at Grenadiers Ballpark. Phoenix Hotspur now has a 18-game losing streak.
One important at-bat came with runners on 1st and 3rd in the top of the seventh inning. Facing Phoenix Hotspur hurler Alberto Solís, Otton Dis, who is rated as the 58th best prospect by BNN, drew a walk. The Continentals went on to win.
"The want-to is there for our guys," said Phoenix Hotspur manager Junior Benítez. "We'll get this thing turned around."
