The Richland Rails topped the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles by the score of 5-3, with the biggest share of the credit going to third baseman Fytor Ceia. Ceia was 3-4 with 2 doubles, while adding 2 RBI for the Rails on the day. The Rails now have a mark of 18-24.

Tied up with the Screaming Eagles in the top of the fourth inning, the Rails got a boost from second baseman Ernesto Carrión. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, Carrión saw a 0-2 fastball from Héctor Tista and hit a 3-run home run to break the stalemate and put Richland on top, 4-1.
