Rails Stymie Chesapeake, Take 4-1 Win

Richland and Chesapeake duked it out at Rails Ballpark and the Rails came out victorious.
Richland starter Juan Rúbio pitched effectively against the Chesapeake Continentals at Rails Ballpark. The right-hander led his team to a 4-1 win. Frédéric Lamy picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-0. Kyung-nam Kim was tagged with the loss. Matko Perisc earned the save for Richland, his 1st of the year.
Richland took a 4-1 lead on Jared Morningstar's 34th hit of the season. The 2-run single, which Morningstar hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Chesapeake pitcher Fabian Thul shaking his head.
"I had pretty good command out there," said Rúbio.
Richland, at 15-21, sits in 8th place in the Premier AA.
