Loss Extends Asheville Losing Streak
|
Chesapeake rode a decent outing from starter Jeff Enamorado to victory over the Asheville Highlanders at Asheville Park. The final score was 6-4. Enamorado got the win, improving to 4-1. He allowed 6 hits and walked 4 over 6.1 innings. Enamorado allowed no earned runs. Asheville's current losing streak is now 7 games.
Chesapeake right fielder Dani Durán made his contribution to the Continentals cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the first inning. For the day, Durán went 2-5 with 2 singles.
