The Chesapeake Continentals beat the Northville Eclipse, 10-1, at Old-Timers Park. The win was largely due to the efforts of center fielder Ray Walker, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Kyung-nam Kim was the winning pitcher. Over 7.1 innings, he allowed 1 run on 6 hits, with 2 walks and 5 strikeouts. The Eclipse fall to 7-11 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2032 season.
Walker had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the seventh inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Continentals went on to win.
Northville manager Juan Padilla called the blowout loss "a real stinker."
