Lake Minnetonka starter Alejandro García pitched effectively against the Richland Rails at Heron Field. The left-hander led his team to a 6-4 win. Nick Riviera earned the save for Lake Minnetonka, his 2nd. With the loss, Richland drops to 0-2.
Lake Minnetonka took the lead in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Tommy Dreamer stroked a run-scoring single to make it 3-2, Love Boats.
"We'll savor this win," García told the Lake Minnetonka Gazette, "then get ready for the next game."
