Phoenix Hotspur Reserves fans were pleased to see so many goose eggs up on the scoreboard as Masahiro Sakei blanked the Bloomington Longnecks, 7-0 at Thunderbirds Stadium today. Sakei stopped them on 5 hits while walking 1 and striking out 4.

"Once he gets in a groove, he can be dynamite," Hotspur Reserves skipper Alfred Roberts said. "He was on top of his game in this one."
