Jersey City shortstop Dana Waldrip made his presence felt in the 6-5 Tritons triumph over the Phoenix Hotspur Reserves. Waldrip was 4 for 4 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Jersey City reliever Juan Valdéz was credited with the win, to go to 2-0. Masahiro Sakei took the loss for Phoenix. This win makes it 5 in a row for Jersey City.
