Longnecks Squelch Buzz Offense in Shutout Win
|
The Bloomington Longnecks defeated the Salt Lake City Buzz, 3-0, in USPL Triple A action at Lookouts Ballpark, with Bloomington pitcher Roy Gartner named player of the game. Bloomington occupies 8th place in the Premier AAA at 23-31.
The Longnecks picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
Gartner said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
