The Bakersfield Nobles racked up a win at Crane Field, bumping off the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes, 9-3. Cameron Frye, who started for Bakersfield, pitched effectively for his team. Bakersfield is now 29-23. Santa Barbara is 23-29.

One important at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the third inning. Facing Santa Barbara hurler Yoriyoshi Yoshimura, Pil-joong Pak, who is tied for 8th in the PAAA in triples with 2, drew a walk. The Nobles went on to win.

"Cameron is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Bakersfield manager Wilson Alvarado.
