Blevins Powers Longnecks to 12-7 Win
Bubba Blevins added some punch to the Bloomington offense, helping them outmuscle the Salt Lake City Buzz, 12-7. In the game, Blevins, the 21 overall pick in the 2022 draft, went 4 for 5 with a triple and 2 doubles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4. Bloomington reliever Marcus Blakely was the winner. His record is now 3-1. Rick Kennedy took the loss. Picking up the save was Nick Taylor, his 1st.

Daniel Faraday hit a run-scoring double off Rick Kennedy in the top of the seventh, which put the Longnecks in front, 8-7. In addition to the double, Faraday had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Blevins told the Bloomington Herald. "It's as simple as that."

Bloomington now sits at 15-21, while Salt Lake City falls to 14-22.
