Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Orlando Casillas, the Salt Lake City Buzz defeated the Calgary Lynx, 7-1. Casillas went 1 for 1 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Buzz. Getting the save was Scott Mildren, his 1st. Salt Lake City currently is in 9th place in the Premier AAA at 9-16.
One important at-bat for Salt Lake City came with one out in the top of the ninth inning. With the bases loaded, Casillas hit a grand slam, which contributed to the Buzz win.
