Golden Cranes Beat Hotspur Reserves in 10
The Santa Barbara Golden Cranes did just enough to secure a 5-4 victory over the Phoenix Hotspur Reserves at Thunderbirds Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Pedro Castro, who captured player of the game honors. Rocky Lannan earned the save for Santa Barbara, his 2nd. Santa Barbara has a record of 12-8.

This game was not decided until late. With one out in the top of the tenth, Rodney Usry hit a sacrifice fly. The Golden Cranes took the lead, 5-4.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Usry said after the game.
