The Nebraska Plainsmen met little resistance from the Grand Forks Caterpillars, beating them 11-3 at The Cocoon. Jorge Iglésias led the way. He was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for Nebraska. Nate Jackson got the win, improving to 1-0. He pitched 6.2 innings, giving up 6 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 8 and walking 4. With their winning streak at 4, the Plainsmen have raced to a strong start this season.
