Billings Polar Bears starter Stanley Kent was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Casper Ghosts, 5-2. Kent, the winner, moves to 9-6. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 4 walks. Earning his 10th save of the year was Martín García.
Corey Dudding was 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for Billings. The 23-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the top of the fourth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a 2-run single off Pedro Herrera. It was his 43rd hit of the season.
"It was just a matter of executing," said Billings manager Todd England.
With the win, the Polar Bears improved to 51-47.
