Thunder Hawks Sneak Past Sixshooters, 5-4
The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks turned back the Westwood Sixshooters, 5-4, at Thunder Hawks Ballpark. Melvin Aikey was named player of the game for his fine performance. He went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 times. Ft. Polk South is now 53-40.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and no one out in the bottom of the eighth inning. That's when center fielder Sigi Lang, who is tied for 4th in the 3AA in RBI with 56, hit a double. The Thunder Hawks went on to win.
