Ghosts Turn Back Ft. Polk South, 5-3
|
The Casper Ghosts picked up a win at The Graveyard, knocking off the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks, 5-3. On the mound for Casper was right-hander Roy Bell, who played a pivotal role in the win. Nand Lal Chaudhary picked up the save, his 3rd. The Ghosts now have a record of 40-46 with the win over Ft. Polk South.
Casper took a 4-3 lead on Armando Pacheco's 17th hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Pacheco hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Ft. Polk South pitcher Carlos González shaking his head.
"I found a nice groove out there," said Bell.
