The Westwood Sixshooters got a superb performance from pitcher Jorge Travieso, but the Little Caesars Hot N Readys still won the game, 3-2. Travieso was named the player of the game despite the loss. He came in in relief and pitched to 22 batters . Little Caesars starter Paul Dudding was credited with the win after throwing 110 pitches over 7.2 innings. His record now stands at 3-4. Little Caesars bumps their record to 28-31 with the win.
The Hot N Readys got a big at-bat from center fielder Quentin Harrop. For the game, Harrop was 1-3 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 4th double of the season gave Little Caesars a 2-0 lead.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Harrop. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
