Ghosts Roll to 8-3 Win Over Blue Sox
|
Casper Ghosts starter Scott Colorado pitched a strong game against the Irving Blue Sox at Blue Sox Ballpark, leading the Ghosts to a 8-3 win. In 7.2 innings, Colorado surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 1. He allowed 3 runs. The Ghosts improved to 26-33.
Casper used the timely hitting of Scott Harrell to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to put the Ghosts on top, 3-0. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
Colorado told a Casper Citizen reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
