BC Continue Skid Thanks to O'Day, Rawhides

The Belvedere Park Rawhides bested the San Antonio BC, 6-1, at Field of the Rawhides. Dan O'Day was named player of the game. He went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Chris Holland got credit for the win, improving to 5-6. He allowed 1 run on 5 hits in 5.2 innings. Cornelius Bigelow closed it out for his 1st save.
Ganne Tiqwa, Israel-born Norm Chodorow came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 2nd and the Rawhides trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run home run to left to put Belvedere Park on top.
Chodorow told a Belvedere Park Citizen reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
The BC, at 29-29, have lost 5 in a row.
